Seriphos by InterPlexus is a phosphatidylserine formula that
may help to provide natural stress relief and adrenal support for stressed
individuals.
Serine phosphate derivatives, such as Seriphos, are better absorbed when
ethanolamine salts are included, as they are with this supplement.
Brain Signals: Serine phosphate derivatives may help optimize brain
neurotransmissions, or communication between nerve cells, especially in the
hypothalmic-pituitary area. This area influences our reactions to stress and helps
regulate numerous body processes, such as digestion, the immune system, mood
and emotions, sexuality, and energy storage and expenditure.
Cortisol Production: Serine Phosphate supplements may also help balance
cortisol levels. A hormone produced in the adrenal glands, cortisol is
responsible for protecting your body from stress. However, sustained abnormal
levels can be dangerous. Cortisol has been described as being part of our
'fight or flight' mechanism, helping release extra energy into the bloodstream
as needed. However, elevated cortisol levels over a period of time may have an
adverse effect on your health, including disrupting sleep. But during times of
stress, a shortage of cortisol can also become critical and damage your health.
Phosphate derivatives may be able to help overcome your body's resistance and
help balance cortisol production in cases of hypersecretion of the hormone.
Memory Retention and Recall: These derivatives may play a role in memory
retention and recall by helping control normal age dependent neurotransmitter
function deterioration or decline. Seriphos is a pure product not derived from
animal tissue. The serine is from vegetable sources and the phosphate is from a
pure phosphate donor compound.
Seriphos Ingredients in 1 capsule: Proprietary Blend 1000 mg: Phosphorylated
Serine/Ethanolamine. Other Ingredients: cellulose, vegetarian capsule shell
(hypromellose, water).
Seriphos does not contain dairy, soy, egg or wheat.
Suggested Use: Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with water 15 minutes before a meal
or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
Warning: Should not be given simultaneously with adrenergic agonists or
alkaloid stimulants. Seriphos should not be given to people using alkaloid
stimulants or on adrenergic agonists. Do not use this product if you are
pregnant or nursing. This product is not recommended for people with reduced
kidney function or failure. People with sensitive stomachs should take it with
a meal, not before. Some individuals may experience hyperactivity and/or mild
insomnia. Elimination of the evening dose and restricting intake to morning and
noon meals usually ameliorates this problem.
Keep out of reach of children.
