Shan Zha Jiao by Treasure of the East is a traditional
Chinese herb also known as Hawthorn (Processed). Hawthorn Fruit reduces food
stagnation, especially from meat and greasy foods, invigorates the blood flow,
and alleviates diarrhea and dysentery.

Actions: Reduces food stagnation, especially from meat and greasy foods,
invigorates the blood flow, and alleviates diarrhea and dysentery.

Contraindications: Use with caution in those with weakness or deficiency of the
Spleen and Stomach. Large doses are absolutely contraindicated during
pregnancy, as this can lead to fetal death.
Chinese Symptomology: Abdominal distention, pain or diarrhea due to food
stagnation, post-partum pain and clumps due to blood stasis, bulging disorders.
Western Symptomology: Hypertension, coronary
artery disease, elevated serum cholesterol.
Shan Zha Jiao Ingredients:
Shan Zha (Jiao) - Crataegus Fruit (processed). Non-GMO starch which contains
maltodextrin, are used as excipients.
Suggested Use:
Adults mix 4.5 g in hot water and drink as tea 2 to 3 times daily, or as
directed by your healthcare practitioner.

if you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication. Discontinue use if allergic
