Ba Zheng San by Treasure of the East also known as dianthus formula is used for the Chinese medicine patterns of lower burner dampness and, fire poison, damp heat.

This formula is for hot or bloody painful urinary dysfunction caused by the clumping of damp-heat in the lower burner.

Damp-heat in the Bladder manifests as turbid, dark urine that is scanty, difficult to pass, and painful. The urine will become dark-red if there is injury to the blood vessels. If especially severe, the patient may be unable to urinate and will experience lower abdominal distention and pain.

The presence of heat with accumulation of dampness in the lower burner is reflected in the dry mouth and throat. The tongue and pulse signs are typical of damp-heat.

Contraindications: Long-term use of this formula may cause weakness, lightheadedness, palpitations, and a loss of appetite. It should not be used without significant modification in treating conditions of cold from deficiency, or during pregnancy.

Chinese Symptomology: Acute urethritis, cystitis, pyelitis, stone or infection in urinary system marked by stranguria with the symptoms of subjective sensation of spasmodic distention and fullness of the lower abdomen, distending pain in the loins and abdomen, urinary blockage, dark, cloudy, difficult, burning or painful urination, blood in the urine, extreme thirst, dry throat, red eyes, nosebleeds, mouth or tongue sores, irritability.

Che Qian Zi - Plantago asiatica Seed
Xiao Tong Cao - Stachyurus himalaicus Stem
Bian Xu - Polygonum aviculare Herb
Zhi Zi - Gardenia jasminoides Fruit
Hua Shi - Talcum
Shu Da Huang - Rheum officinale Root
Zhi Can Cao - Glycyrrhiza uralensis Root
Qu Mai - Dianthus superbus Herb

Non-GMO starch which contains maltodextrin, are used as excipients.

Suggested Use:
Adults mix 4.5 g in hot water and drink as tea 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
