Magna-Calm by Longevity Science is a powder form of
magnesium citrate that has a pleasant, unsweetened natural lemon flavor and
mild effervescence.
Many factors can increase the rate of magnesium depletion in
the body. Physiological factors, such as mental or physical stress, an
underactive thyroid, diabetes, and continuous pain can all contribute to
depletion of magnesium.
Dietary habits, such as higher consumption of sugar, coffee,
soft drinks, use of several types of medical drugs, and diets high in carbohydrates,
fiber, or calcium may also, in part, lead to magnesium deficiency.
Magnesium absorption is as important as magnesium intake.
Most people believe that regular magnesium supplements, such as tablets or
capsules, will resolve magnesium deficiency. Unfortunately, however,
individuals can supplement with the RDI for magnesium every single day and
still be in a deficient state.
Magna-Calm is an excellent source of highly absorbable
magnesium, from the most bioavailable source - magnesium citrate.
