Sho-Saiko-To by Karuna is an herbal supplement based on the
traditional Chinese formula with added milk thistle, selenium, and vitamin E to
support liver and immune system health.
It is typically a blend of seven herbs, including thoroughwax root, skullcap
root, ginger, jujube fruit, licorice, and ginseng. These ingredients work to
promote immune system health. Sho-Saiko-To also contains silymarin (milk
thistle extract) as well as selenium and vitamin E to promote liver health.
These ingredients also contain flavonoids, which are sources of antioxidants
that work to protect against free radical damage.
