Sheng Jiang (uncooked Rhizoma Zingiberis) and Cong Bai (Bulbus Allii Fistulosi) also guide the other ingredients upward and free the flow of yang, while Da Zao (Fructus Jujubae) and Sheng Jiang harmonize and regulate all the other medicinals in this formula.
