Bupleurum & Dragon Bone by Far East Summit Chinese Classics, also known as Chai Hu Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang, smoothes Liver Qi, cools Liver Heat, subdues Yang, transforms phlegm, and tonifies Qi.
TCM: Calming
Potency: 5:1
Actions: Smoothes liver qi, cools liver heat, subdues yang, releases excess from the taiyang, shaoyang and yangming, transforms phlegm, tonifies qi.
Pattern: Liver Qi excess with rising yang. Problems in all three of the Yang-stages of diseases resulting from an improper use of purgatives which are used before the disease enters the Yang brightness stage. The externally-contracted pathogenic influence takes advantage of the weakness caused by the purgatives and invades the Interior.
Tongue: Red tongue, slippery-yellow coating

Contraindications: Prohibited during pregnancy. Can cause digestive upset.
