B2-400 by Bio-Tech Pharmacal is formulated with 400 mg of pure riboflavin in each capsule. Examples of individuals who may need additional riboflavin include: vegetarian athletes, people who are vegan and/or consume little milk, and women who are pregnant or lactating.

Riboflavin, or vitamin B2, plays an important role in energy production, metabolism, the development, growth and function of our cells, normal levels of homocysteine and much more. It may support mental clarity, immunity and healthy mood. Riboflavin is also part of the vitamin B complex, so its presence may be necessary for other B vitamins to function properly. When excess amounts of riboflavin exist, they are either not absorbed or excreted in urine.
